Simple20 is published by Gigabite Technologies. By using the app you agree to what follows.
What the app is
Simple20 is a directory. It lists family services near you — businesses that are independent of us, that we do not own and do not control. We are not a party to anything you arrange with one of them. The agreement is between you and that business, and its own terms, prices, schedules and conduct are its own.
We take care with the listings, and we say "verified" only about prices, schedules and ways to get in touch that we have confirmed with the business ourselves. Everything else is information as we received it. We cannot promise a business is available, suitable for your family, or licensed and insured; that is yours to check before you hand over your family's time or money.
What Join does
Tapping Join records that you are interested in a business, nothing more. It is not a booking, not a reservation and not a promise to buy. It does not charge you and it does not commit you to anything. When 12 families are interested in the same business, we ask that business for a group rate and we email the families who joined. You can leave a group at any time.
Payments
There are no payments in the app. We do not take your money and we do not process payments for a business. Anything you pay, you pay the business directly, on its terms.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google, and you need to be 18 or older to hold an account. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. You can delete your account in the app, under Account, or ask us to on the delete your account page.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass a business or anyone who works there.
- Join groups you have no interest in, or use more than one account to inflate a count.
- Scrape, copy or resell the listings, or use them to build a competing directory.
- Break into, overload or interfere with the app or the service behind it.
We may suspend or remove an account that does any of these.
Our content
The app, the pages, the name and the mark are ours. The listings are compiled by us. You are welcome to use the app for your own family's purposes; everything else needs our permission.
Changes
The app is new and it will change. We may change these terms; if we do, we will post the new ones here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what a business does or fails to do, for a listing that turns out to be wrong or out of date, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the courts of Virginia are where any dispute is heard.
